A nice bright ( too bright really) afternoon so I popped over to West Pensarn at the pipes today with a pack of frozen lug.
Got there a good two hours before High, but nothing happened until the sun started to dip
Half an hour before High I had a classic Whiting tip rattle but probably didn't react quick enough to hook it.
About 10 minutes later the same thing happened.
Another 10 minutes another rattle and this time I was fast on the draw.
I was now out of bait so I mended what was still on the hook, another ten minutes and another Whiting was ashore.
A chap to my right hadn't had any.
I was starting to feel the cold and it was time to go.
