A family day out, a kid friendly time for a large High tide and it was off to Holyhead.
Small bits of feisty ragworm from Winnies worms on shrimp rigs cut down to two hooks and dropped down the wall can't fail. Tried bits of king prawn as well but no takers on that whereas the rag produced about 25 Wrasse.
About High we saw a gang of a dozen big lunker Mullet cruising about 100 yards off the wall. Their dorsals breaking the surface.
Tried for Mackerel without success but still a great day out with plenty to see.
Not sure how long before the work on the wall begins and this view of the outside becomes historic.

25 fish in a session is the sort of numbers you want when there are kids fishing. Quantity over quality.
Good pics. Looked nice and warm.
