Day 2 on the mersey

With me being in the good book's with the missus with
all the wonderful Christmas presents I got her I was
aloud out again.

This time I was off to the town hall steps for one last
sess of the year.  With me today
was mark taylor , ian and ben who come with me
to otterspool yesterday

We arrived at the town hall at 4:30am
and the plan was to fish low water to an hour
or so after high.





It didn't take long for ian to catch a dab & whiting double
followed us all getting a few  















As the beach started to disappear we moved up to the prom
and the fish kept coming

















And they kept coming









It was a great busy session with the 4 of us catching well over 50 fish
with codling , whiting and dabs making up our catch
roll on 2017 hopefully it'll be another good year for us all

Yeah where I fish we park on riverview rd there is a little car park that the start of the road
then walk down a little hill down to the Mersey (1 minute walk)

it is 2 yellow rods tatch they sand out don't they
