Fished the flood on the wirral side of the mersey yesterday,pretty quiet with just a couple
of whiting and small codling but got a codling of 3lb-2 an hour before high to make it worthwhile Smile

Well done looks a nice fish and a nice spot to fish from. That's the type of place I like to stand these days getting past climbing over rocks and sand dunes. cheers santa rendeer

nice fish degs I haven't fished the Mersey yet this year and by  the time I get over there they will be gone  lol!  was going to try the town hall steps can you tell me what the parking is like  santa

Don't know town hall that well but a little further up there's vale park with free parking at the bottom
of holland road or magazine lane, both venues better over low,medium to big tides,3 down 1 1/2 up.
