Had a session on the Mersey last night with Andy lee, seaspirit and danshreckman,on his first cast Andy nearly got his rod dragged in the result was this

Could have gone home after first cast lol!

I did that once in Isle of Man - set up early one morning with spinning rod next to a couple of guys who had been fishing all night. They had not had a single bite.

First cast, ~5lb coalfish. Don't know why. Just lucky.

I showed it to them, put it in a bag, and told them they needed to cast a little more to the left. Wink

Then I went home. lol!
