A Mersey dog

Fished the Mersey on Saturday night with seaspirit,Andy lee and danshreckman to get out of the wind we fished just to the right of town hall steps,the sea was rough but we wer out of the wind and it was a comfortable night
The fishing was bites from the off but we couldn't connect so we downsized to flapper rigs and we had dabs,whiting and coddling,seaspirit stayed with crab baits for the big fish but they didn't show









Then I had a bite and thought cod on but when I got it in it was Daves doggy,I only took one pic of it tho and let it go

Didn't weigh it but the whole world knows it was 2lb 1oz

Great report Andy  and triple points for the smile on Mr Lees boat race

That Doggy of mine gets about but it's lost about 2lb since I last caught it
