North Shore open last night

43 anglers fished our open match last night, including some of the top contenders in the Penn sea league from all over the country. The fishing was hectic for most of the match, with whiting, dabs and a few rockling coming out in twos and threes every cast, the problem was that the majority of them were undersize. Only two dogs were caught, and no in-size codling at all.
The heaviest round fish was a dog of 1-07-00 lbs. for Jimmy Price, and the flatfish prize went to Dave Roberts with a stonking dab of 1-00-08.
I was fortunate enough to win the £120 first prize,    with 10 whiting and 9 dabs for 7-10-04 lbs.
Shane Russell was second, and Mike Peters third.

That's tough Dave that was a good report! Any chance you could put it on again without the swearing.

you must have offended some one and they took your report off dave come to think of it i'm sure my fish were bigger than the ones in your photo  did you make them look smaller

Seems to be something odd going on with mixed up reports, a report showing the wrong author and a now missing report

These have not been moderated!

He did that with the plaice I caught Hot Shot Alan stood back to take my picture and got his Brother in Law to zoom in on the fish he caught that he now keeps in the bath so he can bring it out for pictures every now and again.

The fish wernt that big really its just you've got small hands
