Cheshire Oaks Fisheries Visit #4

4° according to the dashboard and the mist was hanging in the fields as we headed to Cheshire Oaks Fisheries for the 4th time in 4 weeks.



Tactics were as before, swimfeeder with coldswim groundbait mixed with 2mm pellets and maggots, with double red pink maggot on the Drennan (red) maggot hooks.



Things were slow at first with few fish topping.
Tina cast to half way across and I persisted with the island margin.
Once the sun got a bit higher bites started.







I think Tina was on 5 fish landed to my blank when I decided it really wasn't happening on the far margin and copied her shorter cast

Final scores on the doors,
Tina had 10 and I had only 3 but I had the heaviest fish!





She can put her own maggots on the hook in future!
( I might have to fetch my own coffee though!)
