Sounds like the venue is lost,which is a shame.
I suppose we can't have the cake and the halfpenny.
At least the properties on the flood plain will be protected to some degree.
I've noticed that there are a lot of properties built on the flood plain
between Rhyl and Abergele.

I was on holiday around 1955 at Golden sands with my parents,and the site flooded,so it's not a new thing.
