talacre with d & g

got a phone call last night from bryn dg to see if i fancied a bit of dabing at talacre monday. he had been there the day before and had a good few dabs as you do at talacre. the answer was yes so we met up on the beach car park at 12 noon and started the long walk to the green buoy. we got set up and tryed to fish for the first half hour but the weed was terrible, so we moved about 300 yards further to the right and the weed wasn't as bad.


as you can see we were the only two fishing i think the weather report must have put others off i was first in with (you guessed it ) a dab

and then a double of dabs

bryn was doing much the same further to the right of me with singles and doubles

by the time we packed up the gear we had around 28 dabs between us all went back bar the 7 bryn took home for tea.      


as it turned out the weather forecast was wrong and we had a warm sunny day and plenty to chat about
and as always talacre never fails to give up a few dabs. just got to talk bryn in to going a bit further along the coast
