Had my second pop at the hounds taking my daughter as well as she’s desperate to catch a hound.
Up and out at 5am and fishing by 6am
GD Low 2.1m


Low was 9am and we fished 3 down 1.5 up
We didn’t do the long was towards the mouth of the Dee instead we fished on the point marked with the blue flag at the top middle of the image below



The tide was pulling hard considering the size of it. Must have been all the fresh water.
Up until low the highlight of the session was a Dab and the home made minestrone soup.

And sure enough we had a hectic end












So I ended up with 2 Hounds both similar in size but the bigger one weighing 4lbs 12oz a Dog and a Dab

And Ava was made  up with her 42cm 1lbs 10oz Bass

She’s already caught a bigger Turbot than me so you might be right
