picked up ken 5 coats at 10-00 am and made our way to talacre to meet up with bryn dg had to park in the pub car park as the gates to the beach parking was closed for repairs to the sand dunes after the storms.
after the 15 mins walk we got set up 2 hours before low tide
I was first in with a double header of whiting not as big as the last time we were here then a nice dab
fishing was a bit slow at first for bryn and ken but then bryn got off the mark with a few whiting and a dab later on
not to be out done ken got in to action with the dabs he had the best day since he started sea fishing this year
and I was pulling in a few doubles first some whiting good takers and some good dabs
ken finished up with 8 dabs bryn had 18 mostly whiting and I had about 15 of each all went back bar a couple of dabs and whiting that went with bryn for his tea then it was the long walk back against the wind
no rain good company and some fish for tea and ken 5 coats went home with a big smile on his face
