With the last two outings ending up with Blanks ,I wonted a bit of action ,with a small tide and no crab for bait I opted for talacre for a bit of dab action , would have been better going to mostyn with the wind forecast but stuck to talacre. A mate of mine who as just takin up sea angling joined me with his girlfriend ,she must be mad in these condishions his name gaz ,also joining me was gaz lol. We meet at flint tackle for some lug and bits and bobs.
The walk down to the green bouy was an easy one ,as we where all blown there ,the walk back was much much harder...I was prepared to be shot blasted as I ve fished here before in these weather condishions .. It was hard work from the off... with the wind blowing from a southerly direction it made casting easy as it was behind taking the lead way out ..
Gaz was first in with a little dab ,then we all soon had a bit of action on lug and squid ,I also had my best dab on razor a very good bait for this venue ..l
Brave girl
Bacon cheese ,and broken teeth and sand sandwich lovely ,some idea of the drifting sand for you
Some of you eagle eyed ones would have noticed my shutter had not opened properly on my camera ,sand in it ,don't no how it was working the sand was that bad,we saw two big seals close in as well .in all we had to cut the session short ,reels where caked ,up box full of sand ,weed and wind really picked up on the flood tied ,it's a shame because we would have had a lot more fish ,but that's sea fishing .you carnt beat the weather
Better dabs for the table
Till next time .....
