Secound week in Stranraer , first weeks fishing in loch Ryan didn't set the world on fire so had a change of venue . Fished of the rocks at port Patrick . First time of this mark and found a nice flat platform rock witch was very comfy fishing .the ground was a bit snaggy with patches of kelp so went for a one hook rig size 4 .O s rottom bottom and floating beads with nice big chunks of bluey for bait .
Day one hade six coalie up to two pounds
The small one swallowed the hook so it went to the cat ,me and older bro eat the other two with chips ,didn't think coalie would be that nice but it was tastey ,must be because they where fresh 2nd trip to port Patrick produced two pollock and a little coalie to the same method
The other pollock was over two pounds but camera got wet and was playing up Third trip was not brill with one small codling and a coalie
Had a bit to much vodka the night before
