Strait to The Point Empty
PostSubject: Strait to The Point   Strait to The Point EmptySun Sep 26, 2010 9:19 pm

Strait to the Point Sunday 26th

or to be precise the other way around, from dawn for Low at The Point I pointed for The Straits at Caernarfon for High

A variety of rigs were tried offering ammo sandeel / lug in search of bass or codling

bet Dave knows where they are at,
I'd have waived but was alseep from the lack of anything more interesting than crab

I was regretting not bothering with rag and going after the minis instead

Just one trick left. A week ago I had a crack off and lost a Wormy Pulley at the Point,
then Saturday morning Mehmet found it complete with sinker, it seemed none the worse for 7 days in the wash
and had even caught for me Saturday night and this morning at The Point.

Would it be lucky again?

Loaded up the 3/0 with an outrageously large bundle of worm and sandeel
and lowered it down the lee side of the landing stage legs hoping there'd be a monster under the pier
