went to the north of the island today to fish our last wrasse session of the year , not that much to report really , lots of tiny pollack close in just a couple of decent ones of around a pound each for me floatfishing a bit further out with mackerel strip , mostly small wrasse up to about 12 ounces except for 1 that I got whoch was approaching the 2 pound mark , so we left our first mark after 5 hours and about a dozen fish each , on our second mark we only got 1 fish but it was a well-marked ballan of 3-5 for kev , thats it for wrasse and pollack now till next year BRING ON THE CODDIES .,.
