Tidy sesh on the rays

Made a last minute decision yesterday for a go at the rays on the west of the island,conditions looked perfect except
for a tide a bit on the small side so fished over high as there would be slightly more run.
Turned out to be a tidy little session,landed 9 thornies mostly around 4 to 5lbs but had one 6lb-7 and a new p.b. of
10lb-2 and just to cap it off only had two rats and one doggy which had the decency to fall off the hook. :dance:


















On a cautionary note always carry a spare headlamp, battery went pop in my main lamp a couple of hours after dark so had to use my spare.
