| Closest I have gotten to going fishing recently. Taking daughter for a look around Exeter uni and collecting son from Bristol uni so had an overnight in Portishead. Couple of Portishead pier pictures to give some idea of the tide range here. I have fished here a few times before. First pic the tide was half way up, second pic was taken not much later (after walked round the harbour and had an eat in at subway). First pic looks like a nice safe place to fish. Second one not so safe! Tides around12m+ this happens. Saw a small coddo caught on the pier. From the hotel window saw a large mullet (estimate 5lb+) caught from the end of the harbour furthest from the sea, beyond the marina. |

| " not so safe " he says!
A useful warning.
You didn't include the detail of what you had in Subway though.

| Only the second one I have ever eaten. Living the dream though as I have hardly left the house in 18 months.
Meatless meatball marinara footlong on a 9 grain multiseed. Meal deal rainbow candy chip cookie and orange tango.
