| Venue - Llandudno Pier Tide - Low to High Time - Night Bait - Fresh Lug, Frozen Lug, Frozen Squid, Frozen Mackerel Date - 20th November 2009
The first Llandudno Pier night session of this winter greeted us with fantastic mild and calm conditions. With clear skies to boot, just being there was magical in itself.
It was a father and son mini meet on the end platform with Headwyn, Squidward, Tony and Simon fishing under the hue of the green light.
Simon was leading the way with a fish a cast on both rods. His homemade wishbones were working well.
Doggies and Whiting were the staple, with Rockling, Poor Cod, small Codling and Pollock also showing.
Up top it was slightly slower but Myself and Notbad were into Whiting and Doggies.
Round the corner, Dogger was fairing the same, whilst Kev B had a chunky Shore Rockling.
I had a couple of bait traps down. Baited with Morrisons Herring, they were outfishing me yet again. Doggies, 3 Bearded Rockling, Codling, Sea Scorpion plus this nice combo of a small Huss and a decent Shore Rockling.
Most people had Codling, although none of any size.
Simon relocated and the wishbones were busy again.
Late on, Squidward had a few good bites on a large Mackerel bait which caused a bit of excitement.
When I left Dogger and Kev B were still at it.
The story of the night was probably the number of Doggies, although the Whiting were plentiful and of a good size.
Happy Days!!! |

| Luvvin the building shot. Incredibly calm night, lucky considering the weather havoc being reported elsewhere.
I had one codling, the odd whiting, one rockling, one crab and I think it was 16 doggies -got passed caring to keep an accurate count.
Thanks for sorting out the booking Mike, look forward to appearing with you by the hue of the green light when opportunity knocks again. |

| Very enjoyable night. I didnt stick to my masterplan for Rockling and all i got on the Conger rod was Dogs but it was more about the social aspect than the fishing for me. Im on a mission next time, 3 rods for Rockling and i aint talking to no-one. |

| Those good bites on my conger baits must have been little doggies shredding the mackerel without managing to thread themselves round the 6/0`s |
