Splash point

Might give the point a go at the weekend, decent tides. Caught some decent schoolies a few weeks age, any one fished it recently. Also, does anyone fish it at low water. I talked to a guy last week who said it fishes decently.

Every chance at Low, fish to the East of the point, but do watch for soft sand here and there and for the gullies filling behind you. Might need tall wellies or even waders to reach the outer sandbank or you could be fishing into shallow water but the flood tide can be rewarding, do take care as it floods though, be aware of where the watwr is infilling and your escape route back to the point.

Thanks for the advice Notbad. My daughter wanted to come with me so I decided to fish the morning high tide at Pensarn. Armed with Three packets of Harry’s finest, we fished 2 hours either side of high tide.
We finished with a tally of three bass, all in all a good session. I will fish the low at splash point though, when I go alone.
