Splash Point. 4/8/16

With our plans to take Stevo for a session on the rocks for some species hunting postponed due to the windy weather, we had a last minute trip to Splash Point seeing as the conditions were good.



Andy ( Zippie01) was in the area and so joined us too.

We met at the point at 6pm and headed out to the far bank past the famous NBG.

Lugworm baits were sent various distances, and Terry and I tried to pump some worms. His efforts were again much more productive than mine. I nicked a couple off him at around low water and this was the result.

Only a baby but they all count for the hunt.



We fished on into the flood, Terry fishing 2 rods, with Steve, Andy and Rhys all failing to catch before Steve headed off early to get back to his bingo!

I went down to size 6s to try and get a weever for the hunt but to no avail.

It got dark, the tide came in and we went home.

Was a great evening to be out, the sea looked very bassy, but there was only one schoolie in it !!

What makes you think I need any help blanking.

It's the tripod that's jinxed so it's all terrys fault

Great report & photos  that nicked bait always catches more fish
