Worth the wait

My work mate's have been on at me to do a boat trip
after our 2 trips last year was cancelled    today was the
day we went boat fishing.

We set sail at 8:00am from Rhyl harbour for an 8hr
trip with Simon on board suveran 2.







The plan was to drift over some small inshore wrecks for Pollock    

On the first drift Ade and Mark was the first to catch  





Cod and coalfish was also caught



(Before anyone says it I know it's a Pollock   )



While we were catching Pollock , cod and coalfish we drifted over a shoal of mackerel and herring  
All through out the trip plenty where caught including a cracking 1lb 10oz mackerel for Ade  











At anchor we all caught dogfish,bullhuss,rays,mackerel,herrings,whiting and a gurnard



















We all had a fantastic day with loads of mackerel & herring  rays to 13lb 12oz
plenty of double figure huss 20+ Pollock cod and coalfish loads of dogs & whiting
and a gurnard  thanks si for another great trip
