For what it's worth 9/9/13

Arrived at kinmel bay at six am to pump worm and then fish the flooding tide ,got plenty big blacks for a good session and some to freeze down for winter ,happy days sea was carrying a bit of colour and there wasn't a massive surf but enough and it looked promising

First cast and I had a bass on about 3 lb , only for it to come of about 15yrds from shore , I. Thought it was going fish it's nuts off , I was wrong lol

Fished all the flood tide with not a sniff ,the surf died down so set out to save another blank and scaled down hooks and fished for flounders with lug razor and squid cocktails

As the ebb tide kicked in I had two bites but no hook ups , another blank lol. Till next time

I wonder if the cocktail bait was the problem  
You know how fussy fish can be on occasion  
Sometimes their switched on to lug sometimes its razor sometimes its squid but usually they want the bait you haven't got

What I want to know is, if there is no angler around to do it for them, who peels and binds their peelers for them, who squeezes their lug, who gets the razor out of the shell, who wraps the mackerel around a sandeel for them, who rubs the skin off squid for them, where do they find the plastic beads, dyed feathers and sequins ? ( I've never met a Bass in Abakhan yet)
- if it wasn't for us preparing their meals so carefully the fussy little blighters would starve...
