well given the forecast wind this afternoon we thought we would have a go at the bass as there would be a bit of a surf on we got to the beach just in time to get some worm but it took us a while to get enough for a sesh and this made us miss the beginning of the flood, anyway we moved up the beach a bit and give it a go as the wind was picking up and there was a bit of a surf on then the wind seemed to change and the sea went flat Paul managed a couple of weevers
At this stage the sea was looking very flat again and we got the feeling that we were wasting our time so we opted for a move to the dee and we got there just in time,we set up and all had a bite on our first cast and missed it second cast Paul had a double
then i managed a flounder....massive
Andy was catching them in his sleep
then i had a little plaice
Andy had a couple more small ones but Paul just kept bringing them in
think Paul had 8 plaice and Andy had three i just had the two tiddlers but beats a blank and we stayed out of the rain, the wind did pick up again whilst we were there but it was on and off so not ideal for bass fishing, another good day out in the sea air
