Me and ian had decided to fish blackpool last night but after a few reports of people blanking we had a last minute change of plan and fished the town hall steps on the Mersey again.
We arrived at low water and the plan was to fish it up to high again. After last Friday's session hope's were high.
We didn't get a single bite at low but the moment it went dark the bites started to come and so did the first fish of the sess a little codling for ian
followed by a couple of whiting for me
Then it seemed to die off again with no bites for around an hour
The fishing did pick up again with ian catching the only dab of the night and 3 whiting with me also catching 3 more whiting
It wasn't a bad night with 10 fish being caught between us both I did lose a decent fish but there's always next time it started getting really cold so we packed up just after high water happy days
