I am not surprised you did not go. We crossed to Isle of Man yesterday evening and it was one of the roughest crossings we can recall in 20+ years.

The wind isn't so bad but the rain is dreadful Neutral

The wind didn't seem that bad in Liverpool yesterday evening but the sea was not calm.

More fun than sitting at home.
Is there any chance you could organise another trip Dave say sometime towards the end of September that would be 6 weeks away and all the school hols would be over. I am on holiday till the 19th so the last weekend in September would be great for me and as Wolves play away that day there is a good chance Ross could make it aswell.cheers

Affraid not Jim Sad
I'm away in the middle of September fishing the Shetlands so that'll be my boat fishing done until the end of November Exclamation
But I can still try and organise something for you if there's enough interest and Simon has some free spaces.
See what I can do Cool
