I hope he does bring the cakes. What I want to know from Logger is how many Brother-in-Laws is he bringing all three, he might need three to watch his rod if he's handing out cake.

Looks like it's going to be a tea-less day then, unless one of Dave's many brother-in-laws brings a kettle with them. Maybe he'll bring me a birthday cake ?

I think there are two more he only brings them along so that they can watch his rod and tell him when he has a bit.

Maybe brother-in-laws are a new type of bite alarm ? The batteries never wear out, you can walk away from your rod without ever missing a bite & instead of getting a little beep you get a full blown "FISH ON"
