| Is anyone up for a Sunny Rhyl Forum fishing session in a week or two or three on a Saturday or Sunday at a venue fairly close to all (or most)with ample parking such as Pensarn perhaps Would be good to put some faces to some names Can't guarantee there'll be much fishing but there should be plenty of banter |

If your worried we can set some rules 1. No knuckle dusters 2. No flick knives And most important of all 3. NO NETS Zimmer frames are allowed as long as they have optics attached |

| I live next to rock ferry station so thats no problem half an hour to Chester, its when i get to chester its a half hour wait for the train then another 50 mins from there to pensarn-not a problem going there but after a day on the shingle your legs are always knackered so its a ball ache going home!!! |

Not sure were abouts is the best place to fish along there perhaps you local boys can suggest a spot Said day being Sunday 20th October this will span High tide so it's as easy as it gets, the marks such as "the pipe" are to the West (left!) of the amusements/ cafés , follow the narrow road just before the bridge which is just after the crab statue thingy, down to the caravan park area and park by one of the ramps and walk over the sea wall, HOWEVER. Going the other side is both nearer the train station and because you can park your car on the pebble beach ( 4x4 not necessary, but watch the height barrier if you have a camper van) it is easier access if anyone is disabled, easy either way myself, this time of year the Eastern side will not be crowded with tourists, What's the feeling guys and girls? |

| There will be bragging rights awarded on the day too: 1. For the biggest blanker. 2. Smallest fish. 3. Most fish (any more than two pin whiting and you get thrown in). 4. Best the one that got away story. 5. A special award will be given in the senior members section awarded to the member who can stay on the beach the longest without needing to nip off to the loo This prize will be "The Golden Wet Wipe Award". 5a. A secondary prize will be given to the senior member (a mention in dispatches) who can make it to the beach unaided (sorry kirkys dad if this seems unfair) 6. Everyone must have fun |
