It would have been kinder to have just sunk it in the first place
The officially sanctioned graffiti does nothing to improve the image, I'd be sad to see her go though, quite a landmark that would benefit from a touch of gloss white.
Back when Fairziff posted that report I'd not met "Lady Notbad", her family has a long history of working The Dee.
Her late Dad Sam piloted "The Fun Ship" into her final resting place, so she holds a special family memory. I had hoped to write on here about that day but unfortunately neither Anne nor her Mum has any photos of the Day Sam brought her in after working out the best tide for doing it, if anyone has any photos of that day I would really appreciate a copy.
As Anne's Dad guided her gently in he said, " That's it she's not going anywhere now".
