I blame the supermarkets. A lot of anglers are what I’d call dabblers. They start fishing as a new hobby; they also enjoy eating fish, so they tend to take what they catch. They aren’t bothered about size limits etc. But they have seen, and probably bought, fish from counters in the supermarkets. When they look at the size of the farmed Bass, or Sea Bass if you are a chef, they assume they can take fish that size. The same thing happens with other species as well.

Very good post mate,i agree with you toomost people
do say-ive been served smaller in a restaurant so what???
Its just ignorance on there part,however-i too have seen
people taking undersized bass and one of them was not a
"dabbler" he was experienced and a local-i watched him take
the fish into his shelter and not put it back, the way he was looking
over he knew i had clocked him as he hed watched me return fish......
if youre starving with no food in your house i can understand, but
if youre doing it "because you can" youre out of order Twisted Evil Twisted Evil Twisted Evil
