Not done a report for a bit, had a couple of fruitless sessions chasing small eye's the end of oct then a serious
bout of man flu kept me in the shed re-building a few rods last two weekends so decided to go to the island to
try and avoid the rats, met up with Mike on the beach with 2 other anglers already there,to fish 3 up 2 down.
Started off slow with a whiting each then two hours before high Mike gets a little small eye then the bass started,
almost a bite a cast for the next two hours with both of us getting into double figures,think i had 10 or 11 and Mike
a couple more, the other two lads down the beach doing just as well, nothing big, but all between 36 and 45cms.
Worm was the best bait but they were on the feed and taking whatever was on the hook.
