| The last few trips I have had there are loads of small stuff around so I have decided to put A challenge out for A bit of fun over winter (so far)when conditions allow me I am going to use the lightest gear I can for A while to see what I can catch I will be using A 12ft tench waggler rod A decent small match reel loaded with 5lb line A waggler float with built in light as need be (day + night ) A 2lb hook link +small carp fishing hooks (6-10s) for bottom fishing it will be A carp rod (fox tackle) shimano reel 6ld line 1-2oz leads (20lb braided shock leader) I just thought it would be interesting to see how many would be willing to try it eddythefly is up for the challenge and agrees it would be interesting if any one is interested in joining in follow the thread we will take your word on tackle used |

| A great plan. I'm sure Mr Lever can add to this debate. 'Rockling on the fly' maybe ? |
