i don't really know but both these roods are really nice  thumbs up  (and in your budget)  cheers

Shakespeare do a good range of very reasonably priced rods and all always do very well in the ratings. I have one Shakespeare rod and really like it. thumbs up

I've been thinking about fishing with a float myself,I fished Llandulas carpark at high tide using a 9ft spinning rod and a bubble float, like you probably know it's very rocky.I didn't lose any rigs.
The spinning rod got me right out to where I wanted.
I've made two matching 7ft spinning rods up for my boat.I used the end sections of a couple of old carp rods I had spare.Got the reel winches, rubber butt handles and eyes on the net.Nice and short for the boat, and plenty of bite indication and casting capability.
I use 30lb braid to whip the eyes on,and then coat them in epoxy from the £ shop.
