Metal detector

I know this is a Sea-fishing forum before somebody says anything.

Does anyone on here have a metal detector and could give me some information on what is a good starter model etc etc.

I've decided to stop shooting and sell my Weinrhauch hw77 ( .22 ) and go for a metal detector.

I used to detect for years the best advice would be to join a local club (google them) they will have some good sites and local info members who will let you use there machines.......They start at £30 to £1500 about £2or300 will get a machine worth while
