Rhyl Saturday Night Low
Having invested in a new pair of waders I was looking forward to tonight’s decent tide
optimistic that if nothing else happened at least my feet should stay dry
5.30pm saw us well out there with still over 90 minutes to go before low;
it was luxury being able to wade out even further without getting that moist feeling.
Hey Mike, who needs to take a boat trip when you can walk there! Half an hour after Low it was time to leave the furthest bank but not before I’d sneaked a double header of flounder and rockling
With the tide racing in we zig zagged the gullies, I hooked this one in front of The Point
Packed it in after 5 hours that had seemed to me to pass in a jiffy.
The Maestro’s form however continues to desert him, I think he's saving it for the silvers.
