With a break in the weather thought i would head to the island
after something other than whiteing, first stop gaz's for bait and
then cable bay for a couple of hours at high, wasn't expecting
much, more to check on the swell before dark, a few whiting
and spot on conditions for later

Went to ringbolt at nightfall, the plan was to fish one rod down the
side for conger and the other further out for whatever else was there.
Whiteing started at distance and the strappies close in, not very big
though, had half a dozen of varying size all on the ebb.

Monster !!!!!

This the biggest of the night

Had a different bite on the far out rod and had a little ling to
mac/razor

The fishing then died for an hour over low and the cold started to
bite !!, then a couple of pollack when the tide started to flood, this
one the best.

Did intend on fishing 3 hours up but it was getting a bit nippy, and
the rocks were getting icy so went after an hour, happy to catch
something other than whiting !.
