LLANDUDNO PIER 09.02.09

FISHED THE PIER FROM 6PM TILL 12 it was windy ,cold ,wet
and the sea was rough ended up between 8 of us a few rockling and a
tiny dogfish it was hard work all night just to keep warm and dry .
heres some pics if any one has forgotten what a rockling looks like lol

Well I blanked!

Mags had a Rockling, Simon had similar luck to me.

Headwyn and Squidward were scaling up their gear as I left. Not sure how they got on.

Highlight of the night fish wise was a modest Codling from the back of the bar.

Nothing doing on the big stuff im afraid. We ended up with 1 Rockling between 5 rods, but it was nice to be somewhere else than work!

Shame it was so rough, as this tends to put the mini species off, but ill be back there in the summer with Tom for some specimens.
