| How about as a provsional......................... As Mark suggested, (although I make high water at 1120 AM) Sunday, 28th December. Fishing 2hrs before till 1 1/2hrs after. Fishing either Kinmel Bay or Splash Point. Both are easy access. What do others think |

I'd probably prefer the midnight tide, but it may be more practical for others to fish earlier on in the day. What do people think? |

| I hope to be out. (Just got to sort someone to bring musselboy home after his swimming training.)
I have not been before ...so ... seriously... a map could help me. |

| This is Tony's 'Flashy Light' image. It is the far eastern end of Rhyl Promenade (Marine Drive). Parking is free at night. |

| Good turnout last night. Little to show in the way of fish but was good to be out.
Especially well done to codnchips. I think this might have been first time night fishing for him. No injuries caused to him or others, no tackle lost, casting further than me (ok..ok... no great achievement there), and he only crossed one line all night! |

| I was the second one to arrive...James had done a recce and was already in position reserving his chosen peg even with the water still on the horizon; from what I saw he then proceeded to catch more than the rest of us put together, an impressive bit of spot choosing and tactics there James! Wishing I could have stayed longer, 'twas a very enjoyable meet.

| An enjoyable evening but VERY cold, and quiet on the fish front. It was nice to speak to those of you i did, and those i didnt theres always next time. A last cast pin Whiting saved the blank. I was a bit disappointed at losing a rig due to a dodgy leader knot, but ive just come back from the beach, where said rig was recovered, along with a nice Dab ( called Kev )of about 10 ounces that had unfortunately been exposed on this mornings low. Im sure the Gulls or crabs will make light work of it. Well done to James on all his fish! I think im going to leave it until after a good north westerly blow before i fish there again, and hopefully it will be a bit warmer by then too. Happy Days!!! |
