I had a couple of hours spare this afternoon and with the left over bait from last weeks rover rotting in the fridge i decided to have a short sesh at the river to see if the Flounders were about yet.
The lug was sticky and the rag was well past its best so i didnt hold out much hope, but it wasnt a bad day so i gave it a go.
Third cast i had a decent knock, which resulted in a Flounder of about 30cms which fell to the lug.
Nothing else to report, the rest of the sesh remained biteless so heres another scenic shot.
Fitted in a quick castwatch shift on the way home. One fishing the point. He was on his first cast so nothing to report other than he is the fella who launches a kayak from near the Marina apartments.
