A very strong westerly had arrived as forecast.
The desire to just get out there was as strong as ever, so brave it I did!

Not for long though!!!!
My 2 casts both ended up high and dry on the shingle bank within a minute.
I had no choice than to admit defeat.

A quick stop off at Splash Point to admire the spectacle.

Before heading off to warm up in Brookes' Field!

Was that you and Mehmet down on the low water mark yesterday Mike? I would have come down for a chat, but I had the dog with me and the R.S.P.C.A. would have been on my case if I`d taken him out there in those conditions lol!

I had a call from Mark Banham telling me that the sea was flat calm with no wind. I headed down there and things turned pretty quickly!
