| Couple of hours at Greenfield Dock over high today, followed by a couple of hours at Talacre for low. Squid, prawns and some fresh lug. No bites. One other angler at Talacre who also had no bites. Greenfield Dock has some interesting history. Used to be involved in the triangular slave trade. Some info here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FjwY3aZVoVE&ab_channel=DrErinLloydJones |

| The last twice I fished at greenfeld it was 'Crab City'and even a six ounce lead wouldn't hold bottom. They have certainly done up the looks and access of the place. I believe those flood reservoirs near the road are great for worms. The best times to fish it are an hour before high-and two hours after. The incoming tide is a lot fiercer than the outgoing. It's well worth looking at Greenfeld on 'Willy Weather' to see the tide highs and lows. |
