Was heading for a session at Penrhos but had a look at T-Bay first as it was LW when I’d arrived.
Few angles on the beach at T-Bay so popped down for a chat and they had only just got there and had a Bass first cast and the tide had just turned.
Wind was W 30mph with 45mph gusts and in your face. So headed to Penrhos got to the carpark at Penrhos and the walk to my chosen spot didn’t give me much enthusiasm on me own so back to Plan B T-bay.
Set up to the LH side of the beach by some steps thought I’d fish one rod as was possible still planning to move back to Plan A after 2 hrs. Me secret santa prize of lug was in the water by 19:20 (HW was at 23:55 I think)
I was into fish from the off and decided only to fish one rod it was fairly frantic.

All a nice stamp of fish one return that was about 32cm and the Whiting identifying as a Coalie but the rest were 41 - 45cm and up to 2 lbs 1oz.
Totalling 22 fish
The second half of the session I tried what I could go stay away from the Coalies and trying for a Bass by upping my bait size and using crab but there must have been a right shoal of them out there.
Safe to say that was my best ever T-Bay session but I have had some memorable sessions on this beachTrearddur Bay 29/12/23 F95925d1a9c2f837d1b4e6c000918270

Note that Dyl used secret "Santa" lug worm that I suspect might have been dug by the red fella himself santa

Normal shop lugworm might not do so well  Worm  fish

Great session Dyl.
