Myself the 2 Daves and Jordan fancied a session trying to lure a Cod and with nothing much coming out of the Mersey we decided on a session down at Trearddur Bay. The wind was a fresh WSW at 19mph it was just about fishable at the flag pole if it was westerly I think we would have needed a plan B. Arrived at around 3:30pm and in 20mins later high tide was 6pm
We had a little wager for the session £2 each for the biggest fish
Jordan was in early on with a Cole fish that got snagged on the rock and fell back in the drink and Dave Roberts was pulling steady stream of small dabs out
We were all catching the odd Whiting mostly around 20-27cm
Then I caught this little slug
The wind started to pick up a little and myself and Dave Rad thought we would give the beech a couple of hours. With not bit until I think it was going to be Dave Rads last cast
A nice little Bass of 31cm
Dave Rob and Jordan were still catching at the flag pole Dave also catching a Whiting of 31cm sharing the massive pot
We packed up around 9pm with not one Cod between us
High was 6:06pm 4.54m
19mph WSW
