Bait was fresh lug and some of the best Bluey I’ve ever seen all from Pensarn Tackle and bait

Slow start would have preferred a bit more of a chop on as I was after another Coley.
Bait coming back untouched for the first hour and a half but was eventually rewarded with a new
PB for me not a monster but I was very pleased



50cm and 2lbs 11oz

Followed by a smaller one about an hour later



34cm

Then shortly after that a skinny 30cm whiting
That was it enjoyable session

(Had a session at Conwy the Thursday before 27/01/22 2hrs either side of high trying for a Cod. With just a rockling for me efforts. Tide still pulled hard on a 7.2m. Fished left of the jetty.)

Especially in February!

I am seeing reports from Devon & Cornwall of bigger mackerel caught this February than they got last summer. Not many reports of cod anywhere though.

One chap caught two Weever at Pensarn on Friday, spot the climate change!
