Stones aren't a problem, the beach has added pebbles as part of the flood planning but it is mostly sand at casting distance
The surf on this tide with an on shore breeze behind it was kicking up and putting my pulley rig in knots and picking up weed , shorter snood rig sorted that out and it calmed down half an hour before High.
Decent fresh lug is available in tackle shops in Rhyl unless it's a small tide.
I suspect the western side of Kinmel Bay and along in to Towyn is less often fished as parking is an issue in the unadopted roads.
I've updated the venues section ( only visible when logged in) to mention that it is now Pay and Display at the top of the lane passed Asda ( right by the beach) but anyone with a taller vehicle needs to watch the height barrier which doesn't seem to have a height marked on it.
