For those mourning the loss of Splash Point, there is somewhere else in Rhyl.
We had a club match on Saturday night between the Pavilion theatre and the sky tower, two and a half hours up and one and a half down. I was really surprised by the result, fish coming out in twos and threes straight away, the winner ended up with 38 fish, dabs and whiting for a length total of 883 cms. I had 22 for 594 cms.
Some of the whiting were a decent size, I had a few over 30 cms. the longest fish prize went to one of 36 cms.
