Midnight at the lost and found Empty

Thursday Night.
Strolled along the prom and fished a couple of hours across High in Aberystwyth
over the reef beneath Consitution Hill. "Consti" as its known locally

A couple of late evening snorklers reported fish in the gullies. Gin clear water.

With no fresh bait I concentrated on my ambition of catching a bass on a lure.
A few chucks in and snagged the reef and lost my dexter wedge, though not before it spooked a couple of mackies into arcing clear of the water, must have landed right on them.

No interest on the spun sabiki rig, popper nor the slug-go.

T -shirt order, beautiful night until I found midge bites swelling!

Saturday Night
Applied the germoline to m'bites, left the lures at home, rolled m' sleeves down and headed for Splash to meet up with The Maestro.
Spotted a fresh looking party squid on the sand before the gulls did and popped it in the lug bucket for recycling,
1 hour down and 2 up from 9.30 Low.

Found somebody had nicked the water and left chocolate milkshake instead, if I were a bass I wouldn't have swum in it either.
Foul hooked a shrimp - sent him back out as bait.

Lost a grip lead but found a washed up large jelly shad on an outsize lead head (for which I've no use whatsoever)

Packed it in at 11.30pm. Sometimes you know it just isn't going to happen.
