Great question Dyl!
Your list reminds me that I've so many local "ish" venues still to try!
My pick is partly based more on emotional connections rather than on catch successes.
Struggled to rank them in order
but for top 3 I'd go with East of Splash Point at Low,
Rhyl in front of the boat house at Low and Splash Point at High, all due to a combination of memories, moments and a few stand out fish combined with it being walkable from home - if I was feeling energetic.
4. I'd have to put Holyhead Breakwater in there too, not so keen on the very end due to being unable to see the water over the wall from the light house platform ( not without feeling a bit ooo- er anyway!) I've had some fun at the lower level on the end but it always seems shaded and cold there, so my favourite on there is more the green light at the second bend.
5 & 6 Kinmel Bay, end of the road by Asda either High or Low - I'll count that as two.
7 Pensarn by the pipes at High.
8 The landing stage by Victoria Docks Caernarfon - when I was based in Caernarfon I often delayed my journey home for a Summer evening dabble over High.
9 Off my boat on the banks out from Prestatyn ( not launched it in two years for health reasons and it doesn't look much like my plans to use Ronnies launch service on the Straits instead are going to be able to happen this year- but fingers crossed)
I'd like to chuck in a freshwater
venue like piking spots in the Fens and some rock venues in Scotland, a Salmon river on Skye, and quaysides in Norway but I'd be pushing "local-ish" a bit far! So for my tenth choice I'm going with Sunnyrhyl's virtual fishing match location - the tide is always whatever you want it to be the wind is always favourable, the bait is free and the fish oblige!
You've stirred some memories in considering that
