Shell 2015 June Jolly

Thankfully the weather held out for us although there were a few small showers but our spirits wern't dampened  

I arrived lunchtime Saturday with Anita and Hari and joining us was my good friend Dave Lunt who as some of you know is a match man from CBVSAC    (its always good to have a pro along   )

We set up in the shadow of camp Fairziff which was dominating the high ground like a chieftains hut should be  



As we set up camp, Mike and his team were wetting a line on the beach below us as were Tim Steph Ross and Jim  

Tim had already caught a Flounder but we got down to the beach just in time to see Ross bringing in his own    









After a bite to eat Dave and myself tried along near the harbour with some fresh lug and a bit of spinning but didn't have any luck    



The girls wern't to be left out in their pink Sunnyrhyl hoodies  



Time for a few cold ones around the camp fire











Sunday morning came along with blue skies



Tim and Dave were already on the beach trying to land something for breakfast but we couldn't wait that long so Hari got the bacon on the go



Which was just as well because Dave blanked and Tim chucked his flounders back in

All too soon it was time to pack up and head home but we left with some great memories of a great weekend and great company and a brilliant laugh
The fishing could have been better although Tim managed 4 Flounder and Ross the one leaving the rest of us facing a blank

Hopefully we'll be having another one soon
(A camp that is not a blank   )

Great report, wished I'd ignored the.bleep. Weather warning now!

A great meet up. I spared my blushes with a small flounder on the Friday but it was more about socialising rather than the fish.
Can't wait for the next one.

Good report Dave as always. Thanks for a great weekend to all that turned up and to those that didn't you missed out. The fishing was crap but the chat ,jokes,wine and beer flowed how Tim got up at 5.30am on Sunday morning I will never know, but then he's keen or mad. What happened to the picture with the three of use on in our Tee Shits Dave.
I hope we can make the next one when it is organised.  everyone.

Great report Guys shame about the fish but looks like you had a good time.
