picked ken the fox up at 9-15pm and decided on a easy venue at colwyn bay prom for a few hours
ken got set up with feathers to see if there were any mackerel about
he had a few takes but none landed I think they must have been small few other rods out nor sure how they got on. we fished 2 up 1 down all baits getting stripped off within 15 mins I did get a mini whiting around 3 inches so they might have been stripping the hooks
had a nice 3 hours with good company warm night calm sea 1 mini whiting and 3 doggies for me
and yet another blank for ken but he is new to sea fishing and he has had a bass this year so not all bad

Well done its always good to catch whatever it maybe Cool
The bait robbers could possibly have been shrimps and baby dab/flounder/plaice as its absolutely full of them at the moment, me and the kids catch them with those small rock pool nets ten at a time very easily Exclamation

You might find the landing stage nr Morrisons /Victoria Dock Caernarfon when the Straits stand still over high an easy venue, small bits of rag on sabiki rigs dropped down the platform legs and an occasional spin out for a mackerel not to tiring and easy to reach, and when the tide turns it will carry your bait out a way for you.
